4 months has seem to come so quickly. I am really starting to enjoy being pregnant again now that I am out of school for a while. Been feeling the baby move a little bit more, but still not everyday. My doctors appointment this past week went well. He was impressed that I had only gained 3 lbs so far, which I am really happy about. My tummy seems so big already that I am glad that is it. My BP was 110/68 which is low for me, but that's great and the baby's heart rate was at 150. Otherwise I have been feeling a lot less sick, having a little more back pain, but all around feeling well. Our next appointment with the doctor is Jan. 22nd and we will be having our ultrasound to find out the sex then too. We can't wait.
On another note, Allyson will be starting pre-school tomorrow. We have found this really nice Christian pre-school in Orange and she seems really excited to start. We will let you know how that goes this week. Hope you all have a Happy & Healthy New Year to come. God bless.
So I thought that when she climbed out of her crib and popped her elbow out of socket back in July that that had to be the worst thing she could ever do. Boy was I wrong. Last night when she was in the shower with me she slipped and hit her eye on the shower door! Oh my gosh was I scared. This was taken this afternoon, but this morning she seriously looked like ROCKY! I guess this is a part of motherhood. Luckily she is fine she is just going to have one big shiner.
Christmas was excellent! It was so nice to be with the whole family and Allyson really got into it this year.
Ok so I had to post this. A couple months ago when we were taking belly pictures with my friend Jennifer, Allyson was copying us. I thought this was so cute! Had to brag!
Not really a kick, more of a swirling type motion. I was sitting for a long period of time today at my desk and could feel it. They say you feel movement earlier the second time around. I told Mike and he was so excited. WOW, now I am waiting for that first real kick. I forgot how amazing all this is.
Well this am I woke up and My gosh, I do have quite the belly! I don't know where it came from, but it's there. They do say you get bigger quicker with your second child, but my gosh so soon! I am only 14 going on 15 weeks. Only gained 1 lb. so far, but I go back to the doctor on the 29th so will probably have gained a few more by then with Christmas and all. We shall see!!
11/29/06. 11 1/2 weeks. Gained 1 pound! YEAH. Got to hear the heart beat for the first time too! 160 bpm. The old wives tale says that a girl, but all babies at this age have a heart rate at least this fast. All else is well. Will check back with the doctor in 1 month.
This is how we told the family we were expecting baby #2! Everyone seemed really excited. We really do have a lot to be thankful for!
We're Pregnant. We found out on Oct. 9th. We will tell the family on Thanksgiving.
